Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at if you cannot find an answer to your question below.

How is a Cancer Exercise Specialist different from a Trainer at a regular gym?

As a Registered Exercise Oncology Instructor I have the skills and competencies to provide Specialist physical activity support to people living with and beyond cancer. As a trained EOI I am able to suggest, with confidence, safe, effective and individualised activities that are appropriate for people diagnosed with all types of cancer or have different co-morbidities.

What happens if I cannot make a session?

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy unless discussed prior. Any unused sessions (cancelled more than 24 hours in advance) are able to be rolled over, however there is a limit to how many weeks you can continue to roll them on for.

Is there a minimum contract length?

No, every program is designed on a case-by-case basis, however we recommend a minimum 3 month commitment for Coached Packages - but we won't hold you to this!

Will I get support outside of my coached sessions?

Definitely! You’ll get a tailored program to follow outside of our scheduled sessions. Access to this will be provided through a Coaching App and includes bespoke notes, demo videos, and direct client to coach messaging for ongoing support throughout your week.

Can I pause my program?

As there are benefits to participating in a fitness program throughout your whole journey we strive to adapt our program to suit your needs when circumstances change. However, we understand that in some cases this won’t be possible and therefore, each situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to decide on the best appropoach for you.

Can I train with my partner?

Yes, we offer Tandem sessions - so feel free to sign up with your partner, parent, training buddy or anyone else!
