About Us
At Align, we believe exercise should be empowering, personal, and built for life.
Why we exist
We’re not just a gym. We’re a coaching-based hub designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and live well - for life.

At Align Functional Fitness, we do things differently.
We’re here for people who want expert support in a calm, private space - not a loud gym floor. Whether you’re managing a health condition, returning to exercise, or simply want a plan you can stick to, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Every membership begins with a plan that’s built for you - and evolves with you. Our approach is grounded in clinical insight, functional movement, and real-life sustainability.
What we believe
Evidence-based, Person-Centered
We use proven, science-backed methods - but always tailor them to the individual. Your programme reflects your body, your needs, and your life.
Adaptability Over Intensity
Clear, Supportive Communication
Progress isn’t always about doing more - it’s about doing what’s right for you. We adjust each session to suit your energy, health, and goals
We prioritise open dialogue and regular check-ins, so you always feel informed, heard, and confident in what you’re doing.
Creative Problem-Solving
Education that Empowers
Our team loves finding ways to make movement work for every body. From modifications to mindset, we think outside the box to help you feel capable and successful.
We believe knowledge is power. That’s why we teach the “why” behind what we're doing in a way that is clear, easy to understand and is hopefully never overwhelming.
Strong Foundations Built to Last
We focus on quality, not shortcuts. From posture to performance, we help you build habits and movement patterns that support you for the long term.
Our Mission
To provide personalised, expert-led coaching in a private and inclusive space, helping people build strength, confidence, and lifelong movement habits through flexible support and genuine care.
Our Vision
To become the most trusted and loved health and fitness hub in Aotearoa - recognised for our expertise, inclusivity, and unwavering commitment to people’s wellbeing.
